Mickey Bradley
Consultant
For over two decades, Mickey Bradley has been changing the world with an easel and some colored markers. He has helped literally thousands of people in dozens of companies create better work experiences and higher performance by helping them transform cold corporate spaces into vibrant, soulful communities. He has worked extensively with leaders and teams in dozens of organizations around the world, including Google, SAP, American Airlines, The New York Times, AstraZeneca, FedEx, Coca-Cola, and Ecolab.
His broad educational background (B.S. in Math, M.A. in English) is indicative of his right-brain/left-brain philosophy: the most effective interventions use analysis and metrics to drive creative solutions that dramatically increase both personal satisfaction and organizational impact. Communication, conflict resolution, and collaborating across differences are particular areas of expertise. Mickey has worked as an “embedded consultant,” in several organizations, providing real-time coaching to leaders and teams in daily meetings and interactions, and acting as an on-site, on-demand resource for challenges as they arise.
Three core strengths are braided throughout Mickey’s work and identity:
He is a natural teacher, who over the course of last 30 years has educated people in countless corporate board rooms, numerous college classrooms, and one maximum security prison. As a certified executive coach, he serves as a sounding board, sparring partner, confidante, and unwavering ally.
He is an inventive problem solver, the kind of guy who can’t walk past a jigsaw puzzle without trying to work a few pieces. He is most intrigued by challenges that do not yield easily to analysis, which is why the fields of human dynamics and organizational development have long exerted a gravitational pull on him.
He is an unrepentant Samaritan who derives deep personal satisfaction from helping others become their best. (He finds this too corny to talk about directly, but will admit it when pressed.)
Residing in Albany, NY, Mickey is also an avid traveler who has visited every continent, and the co-author of two best-selling books on baseball.
